In the crossroads, hurting, scared, desperate, and alone, a man with frightening scars gave chase to the little slave. His scars frightened her at first, giving his face a cruel expression, but his treatment of her stirred the fires once more. He did not force her to his steel, but offered food and merely laid his collar on a rock.
As much as she longed to run, her loneliness was overwhelming and she took the collar into her hands and submitted to the man, whom she then learned to be called Laird. Laird was a warrior of Kassar origin and swiftly took her back to his home camp. There, a slaver tested her and quickly escalated her into the position of pagar slave, recognizing immediately the instruction she'd had in the house of her birth.
Ti'gra served Laird happily, growing used to his quiet ways, his coolness, and his seeming disinterest. As her love grew for the strange man who showed her so little emotion, she truly blossomed in her slavery. After the first girl's death, she was elevated to dance trainer for the camp.
After several months within the camp, a messenger came to Laird, begging him to come lead another camp without any Warriors capable of assuming the leadership role. Still being Kassar, he accepted, and took ti'gra with him, still his very devoted slave.
