Upon returning to Kassar, ti'gra was welcomed with open arms by those still there who remembered her, but her moody Owner was angered that it seems they wanted him more to get her back. A new Ubar now ruled the camp, Logan Deathreaper.
During their stay in Kassar, Bruenor took Rinah Kesh to mate, the Woman who'd first invited Laird to come to their camp with his property. It was Rinah who uncovered the deception, that Bruenor was none other than CancerStick, who had deserted ti'gra months before.
Bruenor, as camp second, banished ti'gra from camp, calling her and Rinah liars...but the true holder of ti'gra's heart, Laird, came riding to her rescue, challenging Bruenor for rule of the camp until the rightful Ubar's return, allowing once more the dear tiger into the camp of her heart. Bruenor disappeared, never to be heard from again, except for a message a few hands later admitting the truth of his deceit. Ti'gra became property of the camp, where Laird again took membership, but did not take her back. She pined for him, but served faithfully and joyously until the day she was gifted with the Ubar's collar, Logan Deathreaper.
He was a very kind Owner, and cared for her well, but he didn't challenge her the way Laird had, didn't push her or demand more as he had. Before long, Rinah Kesh requested ownership of the girl, and it was granted.
Soon after this, Rinah Freed her thrall, raven, to become Raven Brightblade. He was a demanding Master to ti'gra, but firm enough to make her begin to feel her belly again. It didn't take long for Rinah to see what was developing between ti'gra and Raven and to grow jealous. She refused to let them be alone together, she strove to separate them, and she turned from friendly to cruel in regards to ti'gra. Under the torment of her Owner, ti'gra was slowly dying, losing not only the fire in her belly, but the spirit in her eyes, and even her will to live. It was a daily struggle to force herself to go on. Gone was the wild, impetuous beast, transformed now into a quiet shell of what she'd been. She sought to avoid both Rinah and Raven, and stayed often in the wagons of visiting Masters who desired her company. Again, Rinah grew harsher and more vindictive, forbidding her from any use, making the slave trained to passion into a celibate maid.
One day, Logan, ever watchful and concerned for ti'gra, whispered to her that Rinah was planning to kill her. With this news, and knowing Outriders loyal to Logan, and even to Laird, she fled the camp, for the second time in her life running away. It wasn't even a day before she was recaptured, this time by Brendan Freeman.
